Everyday design!
A concept for Metsä Tissue
MAIN CHALLENGE: How to create disruption by redesigning everyday items and turning them into aesthetic design objects and eliminating plastic waste for a more sustainable future.
Let’s change peoples perceptions of toilet paper, their buying habits and the way that toilet paper is stored in the home, from necessity to everyday luxury.
CREATIVE SOLUTION: This disruptive and fun solution literally takes us back to nature with a 100% recyclable/flushable packaging and product. It also addresses the stigmatism of buying toilet paper and turns it into something you want to show off rather than hide in a cupboard.

How to create disruption by redesigning everyday items and turning them into aesthetic design objects and eliminating plastic waste for a more sustainable world.
We should go back to basic and be inspired by Finnish nature.
So from ugly eyesore you wanna hide away to a product that you are proud to display in your home. and on top of that, 0% plastic packaging & no waste* and why not plant a new tree for every pack purchased.
* Flushable / recyclable paper out, recycled toilet paper and flushable core.
Let's change people's perceptions of toilet paper. Let's change their buying habits. Let's change the way that toilet paper is stored in the home, from necessity to everyday luxury, from an invisible item to a design product.
Let's change the way that toilet paper is marketed, displayed and sold as a product with a story to tell.
